We asked Gray to write his own bio because he just got through college applications and is all practiced at writing great things about himself and here’s what he gave us:
I’ve been working in shops since I started at Odyssey two summers ago. I have been racing since freshman year in xc races, and try to get out riding as often as I can. Currently I am acting both as the team captain and coach of my high school’s (Marin Academy) biking team. In addition to biking, my hobbies include drumming, dancing, backpacking, snowboarding and pretty much everything else that has to do with being out doors. My goal this year is to do well in all of the NorCal races, as well as train a successful team.
Train a successful team!? This kid is sharp AND selfless! And dancing, that’s break dancing. Gray regularly goes to B-Boy battles to show off his style. That would be the equivalent of getting rad on your mountain bike, oh but wait, he does that too. He did leave out the part where he’s just about the best grom we’ve ever had. We’ve put in a request with Tony to raise Gray’s salary so high that he might never leave us for bigger and better things. That request is still pending.
